PURPOSE: To obtain an information recording medium having excellent safety and a high forgery preventive effect without effecting the recording and reproducing of the information by providing a protective substrate and a printing layer with stamped information. CONSTITUTION: The information recording medium is constituted by sticking an optical recording layer 13 disposed on a transparent substrate 14 via an adhesive layer 12 to a protective substrate 11, providing the surface of the protective substrate 11 with the printing layer 15 and providing the protective substrates 11 and the printing layer 15 with the stamped information 16 which is simultaneously stamped. The stamped information 16 is not peeled like a seal and is not limited in the kind and installation method of initializing information to be disposed on the printing layer 15. Further, this information forms the non-changeable reggedness on the card but the deformation does not reach the transparent substrate 11 and, therefore, the optical recording and reproducing of the card are not affected. Thereby, excellent safety is obtd. and the forgery preventive effect is enhanced. |
