PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device facilitated in eccentric phase matching. SOLUTION: A transfer belt 103 comes into press-contact with respective photoreceptor drums 41C-41K by backup rollers 104a-107a and 104b-107b. The transfer belt 103 is driven by a driving drum 101, to drive the photoreceptor drums 41C-41K with the drive. Phase marks 49C-49K for indicating the shortest radial directions of the drums are imparted to the end parts of the drums 41C-41k respectively. Phase detecting sensors 48C-48K detect the respective phase marks, when they arrive just above. When a control part receives the detection signals, the corresponding backup rollers are separated to attain stopping in states where the phases of the respective photoreceptor drums coincide. On the other hand, a phase mark 49D is imparted to a position where the longest radius of the driving drum 101 is shown as well and when the phases of the respective photoreceptor drums coincide and then, a phase detecting sensor 48D detects the phasemark 49D, the backup rollers are in press-contact states all together, to resume the driving of the photoreceptor drums by the driving. |
