PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric buzzer which is lower in the power consumption, small in the size, capable of making thinner, light in the weight and generates a large sound volume. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric body 21 provided with a fixed end 21a which is abutted to a fixed section 20, is horizontally arranged by a supporting member 22 and electrode layers 23 and 24 are formed on the top and the bottom surfaces of the body 21. The layers 23 and 24 are connected to a power supply 25 which supplies an alternating voltage. A link member 27 is mounted against a supporting axis 26 freely rotatively in the vicinity of a free end 21b of the body 21. The member 27 is provided with a first arm section 27b and a second arm section 27c which are extended at an approximately 90 degree angle to each other against an axis through section 27a which is put through the axis 26. The tip section of the section 27b is abutted to the free end 21b of the body 21. The tip section of the section 27c is fixed to a center section 28a of a vibrating plate 28. |
