The support comprises a housing (8) situated at the top of the mould (6) and made from two, three or four sub-assemblies. Each has a finger (10) which projects into the mould and supports the first rod (2) of the reinforcement (3), allowing the concrete to be poured into the mould without disturbing the reinforcement. Each of the projecting fingers can be equipped with a locking mechanism and a cam which blocks the hole in the mould wall through which the finger projects. The finger in each sub-assembly is moved radially by a cam slot in a ring rotated by a motor and reduction gear unit (14).
