PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for a work cycle such as an editing, a printing and confirmation by efficiently transmitting difference information to a display while continuously printing pages on which the printed contents are slightly made different. SOLUTION: A printing image generating section 101 generates printing images so that the images are approximately matched with the resolution of a display section 106. The generated images are stored in a printing image storage section 102. After the above operations, a difference detecting section 103 detects the difference information between the stored images and the printing images already transmitted and only the detected difference information is transmitted to a printing image transmitting section 104. A display image storage section 105 receives the difference information from the section 104 and stores the information as a display image. The section 106 displays the stored display image with the resolution comparable to the resolution of a printing device.
