<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplexing communication system, adopting phone communication and Ethernet(R) communication that surely reserves a band of the Ethernet communication. SOLUTION: The communication system is provided with a coding/decoding means, that encodes/decodes a phone voice signal by employing one of voice coding systems at different compression rates, and the system recognizes a transmission bandwidth in the case of sending digital data by the Ethernet communication and sets an analog information coding system to be used by the coding/decoding means, in response to the recognized transmission bandwidth.</p> |
