PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for a lithographic printing plate which shows outstanding handling and working properties and is capable of inhibiting adhesion failures with an adjacent image recording layer to a support on which the original plate for the lithographic printing plate using a plastic film support is laminated. SOLUTION: This original plate for the lithographic printing plate has an image recording layer which is a hydrophilic layer containing a hydrophobic precursor as a layer where a hydrophobic region is thermally formed, laminated on a plastic film support. In addition, a back coat layer containing metallic oxide particles is formed on the opposite side to the image recording layer of the support. The metallic oxide fine particle is composed of at least one kind selected from the group of ZnO, SnO2, Al2O3, In2O3, MgO, BaO, MoO3, V2O5, TiO2 and a composite oxide thereof. Further, the metallic oxide fine particle is preferably the fine particle of a metallic oxide which includes different kinds of atoms together with the metallic oxide. |
