PURPOSE: To prevent early wear and seizure caused by deformation of a bearing metal or a bearing housing, in a sliding bearing. CONSTITUTION: Inclined faces 26, 27 are disposed at both end portions in an axial direction of a cylindrical bearing face. The inclined faces 26, 27 are inclined from the middle portion of the cylindrical bearing face toward both end portions and outside in a diameter direction, and are formed so that the length of the inclined faces 26, 27 are different from each other in each circumferential direction. Both side portions of a maximum oil film pressure portion of the inclined faces 26, 27 in the cylindrical bearing face are the longest. |
