PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating system, effectively eliminating deterioration of efficiency due to lowering of low pressure side pressure of a refrigerant circuit. SOLUTION: In this refrigerating system 1, the refrigerant circuit includes: a displacement controllable compressor 37; a condenser 38; an expansion valve 44 capable of adjusting a valve opening; and an evaporator 43. The system includes a control device for controlling the compressor 37 and the expansion valve 44, and the control device adjusts the valve opening of the expansion valve so that the degree of superheat of the refrigerant in the evaporator 43 is constant, lowers the displacement of the compressor 37 at a predetermined set value on the basis of the low pressure side pressure of the refrigerant circuit, and alters the set value on the basis of the valve opening of the expansion valve 44.
