PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage device to store the hydrogen using a catalyst in the dissociated condition capable of reducing the catalyst using quantity and also reducing the energy consuming amount. SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage device is equipped with a tank body 2 in which a hydrogen storage material 5 is accommodated, a hydrogen supplying part 3 installed on the tank body and accommodating internally a catalyst metal carrier 6, and a heating device 4 installed in the hydrogen supplying part for activating the catalyst metal.
