PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve enabling a reduction in noise without complicating production steps and increasing outline dimensions. SOLUTION: In this fuel injection valve 1A, a fuel passage 2 is formed in a valve casing 3, a valve element 16 is installed in the fuel passage 2 movably between a valve opening position and a valve closed position, an electromagnetic actuator 5 moving the valve element 16 is installed, and fuel is injected at a specified timing by a specified amount by controlling the electromagnetic actuator 5. A moving resistance 27 is fitted to the movable core 21 of the electromagnetic actuator 5 so that the moving resistor 5 can be moved in the fuel passage 2 integrally with the valve element 16.
