PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pressure rise prevention device for a LPG injection type engine capable of avoiding failures of components, such as a fuel pressure sensor, and an engine malfunction by automatically releasing the pressure of LPG even if the LPG pressure becomes abnormally high at the failure of a vaporizer. SOLUTION: Relief valves 7<SB>1</SB>, 7<SB>2</SB>opening valve ports by a set pressure difference are connected in parallel between a LPG passage 6 and an intake manifold 2. When differential pressure between the LPG passage 6 and the intake manifold 2 reaches set pressure, the relief valves 7<SB>1</SB>, 7<SB>2</SB>are opened sequentially in accordance with the set pressure, and LPG in the LPG passage 6 is directly exhausted to the inside of the intake manifold 2. A LPG fuel shutoff valve 9 is provided on a LPG passage 8, and a LPG fuel pressure sensor 10 is provided on the LPG passage 6. When gas pressure on the LPG passage 6 exceeds set pressure, the LPG fuel shutoff valve 9 is shut off, and LPG fuel supplied from a LPG steel cylinder is forcibly shut off.
