PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap pipe for performing a Kan-tsuru method (R) and a high pressure cleaning method on a pipe on the downstream side of a trap part, by operation from the inside of the drain trap pipe, particularly, the inside of a drain port. SOLUTION: This drain trap pipe is composed of the drain port 1, a trap part 2 arranged on the downstream side of the drain port 1, a trap upstream pipe part for communicating the drain port 1 with the trap part 2, a trap downstream pipe part for communicating the trap part 2 with an underfloor pipe, a bypass pipe 6 communicating with the trap downstream pipe part from the drain port 1, and passing through no trap part 2, and a cap member 3 for watertightly blocking up the bypass pipe 6; and adopts a single operation type pipe connecting mechanism 8 having watertight strength stronger than water pressure applied when performing the high pressure cleaning method, for a connecting part of a pipe body on the drain trap pipe.
