PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve safety and riding comfort, by further reducing a driver's cooped-up feeling and tension when traveling in a tunnel. SOLUTION: This tunnel 10 is characterized in that a plurality of stripes S extending in the vehicle advancing direction, are arranged at random on a side wall surface, and the average length of the stripes S in a zone D for restraining a vehicle traveling speed, is shortened more than the average length of the stripes S in the other zone. In this constitution, since the stripes in a part having a tendency of increasing the traveling speed are shortened, the driver receives an impression of increasing the traveling speed, to thereby generate the effect of restraining the speed.
