PURPOSE: To provide a monitoring device in which a voltage of a signal to be transmitted and received between an elevator control device and the monitoring device can be freely set, and in which the number of wirings can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: A communication adaptor 40 to transmit/receive signals by serial and multiple transmission between an elevator control device and a monitoring device is provided inside or close to the monitoring device. An input/output interface 44 provided with a buffer circuit 47A to store a condition signal received by the communication adaptor 40 is provided, and an output of the buffer circuit 47A is transferred through a photocoupler 46 to a buffer circuit 27A in an input/output interface 24 of the monitoring device. The number of wirings necessary for signal transmission/reception between the devices can thus be reduced, and a voltage signal transmitted/received by the photocoupler 46 is insulated, so a signal voltage of the devices can be separately and freely set, thereby freedom degree of design can be increased. |
