PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material without adhesiveness and blocking in the high humidity condition, by providing on a support an antistatic layer containing a compound including zeolite water as a main constituent on at least one of the surfaces to be coated and not coated with a thermal layer. CONSTITUTION:A compound including zeolitic water is dispersed in a dispersion medium together with mainly an emulsion binding agent or the like having the characteristic of water solubleness or water dispersion. This dispersion solution is applied to a surface of a support such as a synthetic resin film or the like and is dried to form an antistatic layer. A color forming material and a coupler material which forms a color by the thermal reaction with the color forming material are dispersed in the dispersion medium to prepare a thermal coloring layer coating solution. Subsequently, the coating solution is applied on the antistatic layer on the support and is dried to laminate a thermal recording layer, thus obtaining a thermal recording material. As a typical compound including zeolitic water, there are natural zeolite mineral, synthetic zeolite material and analogue zeolite mineral. |
