PURPOSE: To prevent useless line connection to an absence opposite party by discriminating a content of absence information and controlling the line based on the discriminated result. CONSTITUTION: When no message is sent through the selection of a transmission selection section 113, an operation control section 114 provides an output of information of a notice storage section 116 to a monitor 110 or a speaker 111 and executes a series of control to provide an instruction to interrupt a line automatically. A system control section 112 receives by a line control section 107 and discriminates absence information included in data demultiplexed by a multiplexer demultiplexer section 106. The line control section 107 includes a reception means receiving data from a line and a transmission means sending data to the line and controls the line under the control by the system control section 112. When a sender does not send a message, the notice message is reproduced automatically and the line is interrupted, then a wait time is reduced. |
