PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve refrigerating capacity even if using a magnetic cold storage material in helium environment or the like while suppressing influence on the external magnetic field even if using the magnetic cold storage material regarding a cryogenic refrigerating machine having a cold accumulator with the magnetic cold storage material disposed in a cylinder. SOLUTION: The cryogenic refrigerating machine has a magnetic shield 19 disposed between the cylinder 18 and the magnetic cold storage material 16B in a two-stage cold accumulator 16 to shield magnetic noise made in the magnetic cold storage material 16B; a first heat insulating material 20 disposed between the magnetic shield 19 and the cylinder 18 and disposed so that the whole surface faces the magnetic shield 19; and a second heat insulating material 21 disposed between the magnetic shield 19 and the magnetic cold storage material 16B to thermally connect the magnetic shield 19 to the magnetic cold storage material 16B at a thermal connection part 21A formed on the low temperature end side of the two-stage cold accumulator 16 and disposed to face the magnetic shield 19 at a part other than the thermal connection part 21A.
