PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of enhancing exhaust gas performance and quietness in driving. SOLUTION: In the engine, a plurality of cylinders 3, 3, 3 are provided, ignition plugs 36 are provided on the respective cylinders 3, an ignition circuit 37 of the ignition plug 36 is cooperated to a crank shaft phase detection sensor 38 through a control means 17, and ignition timing control for flying sparks from the ignition plug 36 in every predetermined timing of combustion cycle of the respective cylinders 3 by the control means 17 is performed based on phase detection of the crank shaft 39. Ignition timing is brought forward regarding the cylinder 3 in which a compression ratio becomes low. Further, the ignition timing control of the respective cylinders 3 is performed by the control means 17 based on different ignition timing control maps in every cylinder 3.
