PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance magnetic efficiency by eliminating the spreading-out of deformation to a valve seat member and eliminating a clearance between a fitting part of a magnetic cylinder and a coil housing, and to exhibit stable fuel injection characteristic, in a solenoid type fuel injection valve. SOLUTION: In the solenoid type fuel injection valve, the valve seat member 3, the magnetic cylinder 4, a non-magnetic collar 6 and a fixed core 5 are successively continued to constitute a valve housing 2, and the coil housing 31 for storing a coil assembly 28 arranged on an outer periphery of a fixed core 5 is fitted/fixed to an outer periphery of the magnetic cylinder 4. The coil housing 31 is constituted by a body part 31a for surrounding the coil housing 31; an annular bent part 31b radially inwardly bent from a front end of the body part 31a; and a cylindrical boss part 31c forwardly projected from a front end of the annular bent part 31b. An inner peripheral surface A of the annular bent part 31b and an inner peripheral surface B of at least a latter half part of the boss part 31c are shrinkage-fitted to an outer peripheral surface C of the magnetic cylinder 4.
