A street name signpost unit structure of parallel type and an installation method thereof are provided to prevent the distortion of the street name signpost unit structure by inserting an H-shaped anti-torsion member in the assembly grooves of two street name signpost units. A street name signpost unit structure of parallel type comprises front and rear plates(11), top and bottom plates(12), and an anti-torsion groove(13) including a central aperture(13a) and an anti-separation tongue(13b). In the street name signpost unit structure, a space(14a) is formed by the front and rear plates and the top and bottom plates, including a hollow part(14a-1) and a reinforcing plate(14a-2). An H-shaped anti-torsion member(40) having upper and lower flanges(42) and a web(44) is inserted into the anti-torsion groove.
