PURPOSE: To eliminate need of preparation of small money even in the case of lack of the balance to smoothly adjust the charge by providing a prepaid card purchase button on the customer face of a parking charge adjustment machine and incorporating a means which issues a prepaid card in response to depression of this button. CONSTITUTION: A prepaid card purchase button 42 is provided on the customer face of the parking charge adjustment machine 10, and the means which issues a prepaid card in response to depression of this button 42 is incorporated. As an example of this prepaid card issue means, a card processing unit for prepaid card or charge adjustment which has a magnetic processing part and a printing part and a card hopper where unused prepaid cards are held are provided, and the charge for parking is subtracted from the balance in the purchased prepaid card, and the new balance is recorded and printed on the prepaid card by the card processing unit. |
