PURPOSE:To produce a pottery sintered compact excellent in the various characteristics such as dimensional precision, mechanical processability and strength. CONSTITUTION:The method comprises the steps of molding a mixture containing 20-70wt.% of high silica zeolite, 5-40wt.% of lime raw material and/or 5-60wt.% of cerven and 10-50wt.% of clay or a mixture containing 20-70wt.% of the high silica zeolite, 5-40wt.% of the lime-like raw material and-or 5-60wt.% of the cerven, 5-20wt.% of wollastonite and 10-50wt.% of the clay,; drying the molding; and firing the dried molding at 1050-1250 deg.C. |
