PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decline in energy efficiency caused by reheating of cooling water.SOLUTION: A vehicular air conditioner 100 includes: a cooling water circulation passage 63 enabling cooling water to pass through an engine 9; a cooling water circulation passage 73 communicated with the cooling water circulation passage 63 and enabling cooling water to pass through a heater core 75; a three-way valve 7 for blocking the communication between the cooling water circulation passage 63 and the cooling water circulation passage 73 when switched to the blocking state; and a heat pump unit 4 having an electric compressor 42 for compressing a refrigerant, an evaporator 51 for making the refrigerant absorb heat from the cooling water in the cooling water circulation passage 63, a condenser 52 for releasing heat from the refrigerant that has absorbed heat by the evaporator 51 to the cooling water in the cooling water circulation passage 73 and an orifice 53 for decompressing the refrigerant that has passed through the condenser 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
