The present invention relates to a composite for intaglio printing and a production method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composite for intaglio printing, which is contained in ink in a form that a surface of magnetic powder is coated with wax, thereby improving material properties and storability of the ink. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof. According to the present invention, the composite for intaglio printing is used in ink, and can be applied to decorative accessories, clothes, hazard labeling products, toys, fashion products, stickers, plastic products, as well as security elements used in products requiring security.
