PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system and a game machine receiving a storage medium capable of specifying a valuable value possessed by a player and holding points to be used in the game machine for a game, and capable of improving convenience of the player using the storage media and giving consideration to security.SOLUTION: A coin (such as a member coin, a visitor coin, etc.) capable of specifying the coin balance and holding points, and a coin recognition substrate 331 reads out information stored in the coin via a reader-writer. A put-out control part 171 converts the balance read out from the coin into medal points, and stores them in a RAM. An authentication of the coin for making it possible to read out the coin balance and holding points from the coin is performed by a security substrate 335, and if a time clocked by a timer elapses a prescribed time, the authentication is cancelled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
