Disclosed is a vehicle multimedia system comprising a connection to a vehicle bus system in the vehicle; there is a data link, via the vehicle bus system, to a seat occupancy system (3) that is used to determine which seats (2) in the vehicle are occupied, and the occupancy of the seats (2) is displayed via a visualization unit (10, 30) of the vehicle multimedia system in accordance with the determined seat (2) occupancy; the display is designed in such a way that at least one mobile terminal (100, 300) of a vehicle passenger can establish a data link to the vehicle multimedia system in a coupling process, and said mobile terminal/s (100, 300) is/are associated with the respective vehicle passenger via the vehicle multimedia system. |
