METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SPRAYING LIQUIDS

FIELD: humidification and air-conditioning systems; treatment of moulded concrete or reinforced concrete articles. SUBSTANCE: method consists in swirling the liquid in vortex chamber by passing this liquid through passages of screw swirler inclined to axis of vortex chamber; swirled flow escapes through outlet nozzle in form of circular sheet forming spray cone; part of spray cone is covered by obstacle which entraps large drops due to collision against obstacle; drops flow over obstacle and are removed through discharge; outlet nozzle of swirler is grounded and obstacle is isolated from grounding circuit. Device for spraying the liquid has hollow housing with outlet section tapering in way of flow; outlet section is provided with nozzle. Screw swirler mounted in housing has passages inclined relative to axis of spraying device and needle tapering towards nozzle forming vortex chamber together with outlet section of housing with grooves in its walls. Intermediate section provided between swirler and needle forms circular slot together with housing tapering towards nozzle; depth of grooves in intermediate section smoothly decreases in way of flow. Outlet nozzle is made in the form of metal bush pressed in base of tapering portion of outlet section of cone. Taper splitter is mounted in hollow area of obstacle along axial line of spray cone. Vortex of cone of splitter is directed towards outlet nozzle; housing and obstacle are secured on liquid supply branch pipe. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 4 dwg
