FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary rational psychotherapy while the patient is awake. This is followed by identification of hyperesthesia areas on the patient's back surface. The patient is hypnotized and the position of the hyperesthesia areas is ascertained. The next step is massotherapy with heterosuggestive action on the patient for 25-30 min. Massotherapy is performed both sides of the spine, first paravertebrally at a distance of 0.5- 1.0 cm from the osseous processes by moving the cupping-glass upward to the neck part and back for 1.5-2.0 min, then on the entire back surface 1-3 progressive movements on each massage line and 9-11 movements in the hyperesthesia areas. This is followed by 9-11 massage movements in the adrenal area, around the shoulder-blade from the lower angles to the shoulders, in the neck muscles area, and in the area of the shoulder-blades in a fan-like manner. The back surface is massaged in the same sequence for 23-27 min, and the massage is finished in the breastbone area for 2-3 min. In addition, the cupping-glass remains on the body for 3-5 min, then it is removed before the post-hypnotic action for 10-15 min. The course includes 9-15 treatments. EFFECT: higher therapeutic efficacy; longer remission period, minimized use of drugs. |
