PURPOSE:To smooth the current of physical distribution information and improve the efficiency of cargo-handling work, though the confirmation, practice and judgement of work instructions are left to an operator, by performing automatic positioning operation to a compartment address and enabling communication between a manned rack forklift truck and a ground control machine. CONSTITUTION:A ground control machine 1, racks and a manned rack forklift truck 4 are combined into a communication device capable of transmitting and receiving data between the truck 4 and the machine 1. An automatic operation control device is automatically operated to a compartment address directed by the truck 4 and the machine 1, according to a distance detection signal of a traveling distance detector. A display terminal displays work instructions to the operator, gives destination address instructions with the automatic operation control device and receives present address detection data gained by the traveling distance detector. The device and the terminal are mounted to smooth the current of physical distribution information and improve the efficiency of cargo-handling work. |
