WEAR RESISTANT COMPONENTS COATED WITH A DIAMOND PARTICLE DISPERSED HARD CERAMIC FILMS AND ITS SYNTHESIS METHODS

Process for coating carbide, ceramic and diamond on a mother metal one after another is described. Thus, the process is composed of i)coating a carbide product on a surface of transition metal with a thickness of 0.5-200 microns, ii)grinding the surface of carbide coated mother metal with one of diamond powder, SiC powder, SiO2 powder, and Al2O3 powder to control a nucleus production density, iii)vapor depositing a diamond particle on the carbide coated mother metal with a thickness of 0.2-100 microns, iv)vapor depositing the hard ceramic on the diamond vapor-deposited layer.
