FIELD: laser detection and ranging, communication, data transmission and storage systems, as well as laser process plants for high-precision machining. SUBSTANCE: the offered scanning laser has an active element placed in a resonator with two mirrors, space-time light modulator installed near the second mirror of the resonator and made in the form of an intraresonator electrically controlled plate with linear control electrodes, and a pumping source. The novelty in the scanning laser is the fact that it additionally uses a perfect polarizer placed between the plate of the space-time light modulator and the active element, the polarizer is made in the form of a polarization divider with a third partially reflecting mirror, forming a confocal resonator with the first mirror, in the direction of the reflected component, and two quarter-wave plates installed on both sides of the polarizer; the confocal resonator is made with fully reflecting mirrors; the linear control electrodes of the plate of the space-time light modulator are positioned at an angle of 45 deg. to the plane of polarizer transmission. The offered device is easily integrated with a control computer and an external coordinate radiation detector. EFFECT: enhanced contrast and intensified brightness of images, enhanced power of oscillation at spatial scanning of multispecial laser radiation. 4 cl, 3 dwg |
