FIELD: preparing of raw wood material in pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing with side walls and rotating shafts positioned in parallel one with the other within the housing. Shafts have toothed surface formed by pyramid-shaped projections. Projections on adjacent shafts are offset for value equal to half the space between projections extending axially of shaft and are inserted into gaps between facets of opposite pyramids. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of wood chips. 3 dwg |
