Sea water is heated to b.p. in several consective evaporator units by a fluid heating medium, vapor obtained is used for heating following evaporator units. The latter consists of several coaxial, undulating metal pipes separated by spacers. Pref., the pipes are made of an alloy consisting of 70-90% Cu and 30-10% Ni, or of Ti or ti alloy. An external heat-insulating layer consists of expanded polyurethane. |
