FIELD: atomic, chemical and metallurgical branches of industry at removal of sediments positioned under the protective layer of water from the bottom of horizontal settling basins. SUBSTANCE: the device uses a platform with rocking supports, frame with a fixed trough installed in the supports; the invention is featured by the fact that the platform is installed on a floating facility for example, a pontoon, the trough is furnished with a guard in the form of ribs, supporting runners and a shaft installed inside the trough with two opposite- directed screw knives wound with a variable pitch increasing to the inlet chamber located in the middle part of the trough and furnished with a nozzle, as well as with a pump inlet connection dipped in it; the pump outlet connection is connected to remote-controlled actuator valves connected to the flexible pipe and inlet chamber nozzle. EFFECT: enhanced capacity, expanded functional abilities providing continuous conveyance of sediment in the form of pulp with control of its density, reduced time of contact of attending personnel with radioactive sediments, improved environment situation. |
