Adhesive-connection is between abutting prefabricated building components, (2, 3) with an elastic carrier, made of foamed material inlaid in the open joint gap, for introduction of a fluid hard-setting adhesive. The abutting faces (2a, 3a) of the components are subsequently pressed against each other. The elastic carrier (1) is porous to the extent of 90% of its volume. At least 60%. and pref. up to 90%, of its absorbent capacity is saturated with a mass of elastic adhesive corresponding to a complete filling of the joint volume, with pressure together amounting to as much as 10% of the original volume. The entire gap area may be filled with adhesive, and any tendency for adhesive to emerge at the edges is prevented. |
