PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a visual distinction between first and second variations, and improve interest in the second variation by setting the second variation in a variation period in which discriminating information can be visually confirmed not less than two times the first variation, and controlling it by the second variation when a display result is judged as a special display mode. SOLUTION: In a special variable display device 30 to variably display discriminating information by a character image display part 60 in the almost center of a game area 3, when a display result is judged as a special display mode, the discriminating information is controlled by a sliding variation (a second variation). This special variable display device 30 performs the sliding variation whose variation is more than an ordinary variation (a first variation) as the anticipative existence of a special display mode. The second variation in a variation period in which a picture pattern can be visually confirmed in such a sliding variation, is set in at least two times the first variation in a variation period in which the picture pattern can be visually confirmed in the ordinary variation. As a result, a visual distinction between the ordinary and sliding variations can be easily performed. |
