<p>This invention relates to compounds effective as herbicides, insecticides, acaricides and nematocides comprising, as an active ingredient, a compound of the formula and to the method of preparation thereof. The active ingredient is prepared by condensing a salt of thiophospate of the formula with an halogenated acetoamide compound of the formula in the presence of solvents such as water, alcohols and ketones. The compounds of this invention are useful as they display a strong herbicidal activity on various weeds, they are long-lasting, they apply to both pre-emergence and foliage treatment of weeds, and they have a controlling effect on various kinds of insects. They may be used as they are or in a prepared form such as dusts, granules, fine granules, wettable powders or emulsfiable concentrates.</p> |
