PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent passengers in a hall from waiting for an elevator in a fret mood for a long time. SOLUTION: An elevator comprises hall buttons 13a, 13b for respectively generating an up or down hall call, a rotary encoder 11 for detecting the position and moving direction of a car, a load sensor 12 for detecting load applied to the car, and a control board 4 for making a car respond to a call in the same direction as the car running direction and making a full car pass the floor where a hall call is generated. In this control means, when a car passes the floor where a hall call in the same direction as the car running direction is generated in the same direction, the number of times of passing is counted, and when a hall call is generated, the waiting time is measured, whereby a car responds to a hall call generated in the floor where the count is above the preset passing count or the waiting time is above the preset waiting time prior to the other hall calls. |
