摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance initial discharge capacity and a cycle characteristic by using a compound capable of storing-releasing lithium (alloy) of lithium as a negative electrode, nonaqueous electrolyte containing lithium salt as electrolyte and a specific material as a positive electrode active material. SOLUTION: After high pressure steam treatment is performed on a mixture by mixing a water soluble lithium compound, an aluminum compound and a water feractory manganese compound in an autoclave by adding steam pressure not less than 2kgf/cm<2> , it is heated to a high temperature, and a positive electrode active material composed of a material having a formula [LiMn2-x Alx O4 (0.05<=x<=0.5)] is obtained. This positive electrode active material, a conductive agent and a binding agent are mixed together, and a positive electrode 1 is obtained by press molding. The positive electrode 1, a separator 3 and a negative electrode 4 composed of a compound to store-release lithium (alloy) or lithium are arranged in a sealing can 6 to which a gasket 5 is attached, and nonaqueous electrolyte containing lithium salt is added onto the separator 3 and the negative electrode 4.
