PURPOSE:To keep noise moderate, by turning the number of repeative pattern constituent units to a range of specific numbers. CONSTITUTION:In a wide variety of tires different in size, relationships between the number of pattern constituent units in grooves of the tread part and the tire running speed to produce a peak of a noise level are correlated each othr even if each tire size differs. Accordingly, in a pneumatic tire of bias structure with a repeative pattern on at least two main grooves being arranged in the circumferential direction of the treat part, the number of repeative pattern constituent units are set in a range of either 30-45 or 95-200 pieces, thereby securing a low noise bias pneumatic tire. |
