<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of image data to be stored in a data storage device. SOLUTION: The image data 43 read by an input scanner and the graphic 53 for layout read by a drawing device are stored in a data storage device. The image data 43 and the graphic 53 for layout are read from the data storage device, a relative aligning is performed and the part on the external side of a cut rectangle 63 which is slightly larger than the rectangle 63 that circumscribes about the graphic 53 for layout, is made an unnecessary area 65. The image data within the cut area 63 is stored again in the data storage device. The image data the unnecessary area 65 is deleted or is stored in an optical magnetic disk device (nonillustration), etc.</p> |
