PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dew formation at the peripheral edge of an outlet even when temperature is high, in an air conditioner having the outlet shaped to be long longitudinally. SOLUTION: In a longitudinal type air conditioner of which an outlet 4 is also shaped to be long longitudinally, an air sending passage 5 from a blower fan 3 to the outlet 4 is provided and a projecting part 5 is formed at the fore end of the air sending passage 5. The projecting part 6 is so formed as to be continuous vertically on the opposite sides of the outlet 4, while a drain receiver 7 is provided in the lower part of the projecting part 6 and drain of the dew formed at the projecting part 6 drops down to the drain receiver 7 along this part 6. Therefore the dew is prevented from being formed on a front plate of a frame body 1 at the peripheral edge of the outlet 4. |
