PURPOSE:To image a superior quality picture without mis-convergence by connecting the coil of a saturable transformer in series or in parallel with the series or parallel circuit of a pair of horizontal and vertical deflecting coils. CONSTITUTION:In a deflecting yoke 10, horizontal deflecting coils 11a and 11b and vertical deflecting coils 20a and 20b are connected in parallel and terminals H1 and H2 and V1 and V2 are provided at both ends of each parallel circuit. Each horizontal coil 16a and 16b and each vertical coil 18a and 18b of saturable transformers 14a and 14b are connected in series with this parallel connected deflecting coil respectively. The vertical coils 18a and 18b are wound so that magnetic flux which is generated against vertical deflecting current increases in one hand and decreases in another hand the magnetic flux of a bias magnets 17a and 17b and are wound in the direction so that the magnetic flux of the horizontal coils 16a and 16b increase or decrease together. Thereby, the harmful vertical deflecting current is eliminated and good convergence is obtained.
