PURPOSE:To form an integrated circuit on a small chip area by selecting respective division points of a division resistor string by one selector in a reference voltage generator and outputting a reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:A DC power supply Vcc is connected to respective division points a0-a4 of a resistor string consisting of resistors R1-R4 through the switches 2-1-2-4 of a switch circuit 2. On the other hand, an earth point is connected to respective division points a7-a10 of a resistor string consisting of resistors R8-R11 through the switches 3-1-3-4 of a switch circuit 3. A resistor string consisting of resistors R5-R7 is connected in series between said resistor strings and respective division points a4-a7 are connected to the selector 1. Said constitution makes it possible to reduce the number of connections between reference division resistors and corresponding selectors, to simplify the constitution of the selector and to form the integrated circuit on an extremely small chip area.
