NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [R<1> is (protected) amino; R<2> is (substituted) heterocyclic group having 1-3 hetero atoms selected from N and S; R<3> is (protected) carboxyl or -COO<->] or its salt. EXAMPLE:7beta-{(Z)-2-( 2-aminothiazol-4-yl )-2-[<(3S)-2-oxopyrrolidin-3-yl>oxyimino] acetamido}-3-(1-methyl-4-pyridinio)thiomethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylate. USE:An antibacterial agent effective against Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria and an additive for animal feed. PREPARATION:An oxyiminoacetic acid compound of formula II [R<11> is (protected) amino], its salt or its reactive derivative is condensed with a 7- aminocephalosporin compound of formula III [R<31> is (protected) carboxyl or -COO<->] or its salt. |
