<p>PURPOSE:To carry out regeneration of a device after refining low-boiling gas by providing a first heat exchanger and an adsorber separately from a cold box and connecting the adsorber with a low-boiling gas outlet on the high pressure side of the first heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A first heat exchanger 7a and an adsorber 32a connected with the high pressure gas outlet side of the heat exchanger are installed in a refiner box 40 provided separately from a cold box 6. The adsorber 32a is a second adsorber following a first adsorber 4. Preferably a unit of 7a and 32b is installed in parallel with said unit 7a and 32a in order to refine and regenerate alterna tively. The first heat exchanger 7a exchanges heat with cooling fluid flowing in from an outside fluid feeding column 45, and cooling down to around -80 deg.C--190 deg.C can be carried out by some kind of refrigerant carrier. By said process, the adsorber 32a can be cooled down far lower than -40 deg.C hereto fore available, and impure gas can be collected sufficiently. The impure gas getting in the cold box 6 can be minimized to an extreme extent, and regenera tion of the cold box can put-off for a long time.</p> |
