The prepn. of artificial feedstock for culturing prawns comprises (a) crushing a mixt. of starfish 10-30, sea hare 15-50, and snail 10-20 % and pressing the crush to give the juice; (b) adding a mixt. of crushed cuttlefish 10-30, fish meal 15-50, and barley powder 10-20 % to the juice; (c) mixing the mixt. with 0.5-5.0 % yeast and incubating at 30-40 C for 24hr; (d) adding a mixt. of Na2HPO4 0.5- 2.0, green algae 5-10, and small amt. of α-armine to the fermentate; and (e) drying the mixt. at 85≦̸C and shaping into feedstocks of 2- 3mmX10mm.
