PURPOSE:To prevent the unbalance of a color from being generated in right and left videos even when there is a wavelength dependency on the optical turning capability of a variable polarizing plate by providing three projecting means, three fixed straight line polarizing plates and three variable polarizing plates. CONSTITUTION:A polarizing filter 70 is constituted of the three fixed polarizing plates 81, 82, 83 for receiving the respective color lights of red R, green G, blue B from the video projector and the three variable polarizing plates 91, 92, 93 disposed oppositely to these polarizing plates 81, 82, 83. The polarizing plates 81, 82, 83 have respective polarizing axes dislocated by a prescribed angle and linearly polarize the light R, the light G, the light B from the three sets of the projectors. The polarizing axis of the polarizing plate 81 is dislocated and selected by the prescribed angle in a delay direction to the direction of the polarizing axis of the polarizing plate 82 and the polarizing axis of the polarizing plate 83 receiving the light B is dislocated and selected by the prescribed angle in an advancing direction to the direction of the polarizing axis of the polarizing plate 82. Thereby, even when there is the dependency on the optical turning capability of the polarizing plates 91, 92, 93, the generation of the unbalance of the color of the right and left videos can be prevented. |
