The terminal box 1 is fixable into a U-shape support bracket 2 and consists of: a frame body 3 made of electrically insulating material and of substantially rectangular form provided internally, in correspondence with one face, with at least one housing 19 for a sensor; an electrically conductive layer 4 embedded within the interior of the frame body and on which are formed respective projecting electrical male connectors 5 defined by L-shape bent tongues which extend through the body into respective seats 21, 22 formed on respective side walls of the body, and respective female electrical terminals 6 formed in respective windows 24 of the body; and a plate 30 provided with slots 33 and formed integrally with the body, to which it is connected hingedly by a flexible ligament 31, the said plate being superimposable over the said windows to form with these and the terminals a socket for a plug 10.
